This series is general board orientation in a nutshell for new board members, not-yet board members, organizational leaders, or those who want a refresher. Participants will leave with:

  • An introduction to board culture and the dynamics of being a volunteer leader for a nonprofit
  • Confidence in stepping into your role as a board member

  • This session will cover board legal responsibilities, duties, and modes of governance.

  • This session will talk board dynamics, culture, red flags, and a framework for inclusion.

Session Three | Become your best board self! 

  • This session will identify how you can make a plan for your first (or next) year of board service to set yourself up for success and enjoyment.
